Fundraising

The Cancer & Bowel Research Trust receives no government funding, and relies on the generosity of the public to fund its programs. It has a number of fundraising projects which run in conjunction with our awareness programs, providing the necessary financial support for its accommodation and education programs. 

Telemarketing

Our friendly representatives call people throughout the year, to provide information about cancer and our accommodation program, and raising funds to continue these worthwhile and necessary services. Any donations made over the phone are securely processed in-house, to ensure that your details are kept private. We never provide your details to third parties, and we only ask for your help once a year. 

Doorknock

From time to time we have a number of advocates that go from door-to-door, giving out information and making people aware of what we do. All donations are gratefully accepted, and help us to continue funding our programs. All advocates wear a photo ID on a lanyard around their necks, and provide pre-printed receipts for all whole dollar donations.

Shopping Centres

We have representatives manning small information stands in shopping centers and high-traffic areas, particularly throughout Brisbane and surrounds. Please feel free to approach one of our friendly people, to find out more about what we do, and help with a small donation to our appeal.
